Customized design system implementation strategy for a large scientific supply company.

Role

Design systems can streamline work across departments, creating the time and space for real innovation where it matters most. Unfortunately, some designers view them as a hindrance, and many non-designers don’t see how they affect their work at all. As Solutions Lead, I guided my team in creating a playbook that explained what a design system is, how it helps, and how to implement one within the customer’s unique ecosystem. Through stakeholder interviews, subject-matter research, and a series of workshops, we presented this solution company-wide and left teams with a clear implementation strategy.
