Cambridge
Friends School

Create a cohesive visual identity and print materials for a small Quaker school in Cambridge, reflecting its core values and strengthening its communication with the broader community.

The first thing I did was define a color palette and choose a font that reflected the schools roots in Cambridge, Mass. Then I created a lock-up of the school’s value proposition that could be used across print and digital spaces. One of the first pieces I designed was a post card.

The next project was a set of environmental graphics in Porter Square. We were able to increase attendance to the fall admissions open house by 12%

Redesigning the CFS magazine was an exciting undertaking. I worked with teachers and marketing to gather stories, news, and photography from the community. I art directed several photo shoots and did all the layout and print production.

I also designed a new logo for the school’s 60th anniversary that went into environmental graphics, web promtions, and printed mailers.
